Dignatories from across the country particularly in Kwara State have continued to send condolence messages and paying homages to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu- Gambari over the death of his Chief Security Officer, ASP Adedayo Olowoyo who passed on Friday.
Among recent callers at the Emir’s palace are the President of Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union, Alhaji Aliyu Otta Utman, members of the Ilorin Emirate Durbar committee led by it’s Chairman, Engineer Suleiman Yahaya Alapasanpa, the Danmasani of Ilorin, who was represented by Professor Ibrahim Jawondo, the Are of Ogele, Alhaji Abdulkadir Ishola Are, the Pillar of Sports in Nigeria, Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike, the chairman of the Kwara state council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Ahmed Abdulateef , the state Chairman of the National league of Veteran Journalists, NALVEJ, Alhaji Tunde Akanbi , market women and various groups.
The Retired Grand Kadi of Kwara state , Justice S. O. Mohammed led prayers during the condolence visit where he prayed God to take care of all those the deceased left behind.
Justice Mohammed also prayed God to grant the Emir long life in good health.
The Danmasani described the Emir as a lover of peace who does not descriminate against any tribe or religion.
In his remarks, The Nigeria Pillar of Sports, Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike, condoled the Emir over the death of his Chief Security Officer, ASP Adebayo Olowoyo whose demise he described as a rude shock.
Chief Ejidike noted that the late police officer was a honest and committed personality who carried out his assignments with high sense of responsibility.
According to him, the deceased was a very cheerful officer , a lover of Sports whose interest was to contribute meaningfully to the palace and the Ilorin Emirate in particular stressing that he had regarded himself as part and parcel of the palace.
He prayed God to uphold the Emir of Ilorin, and the family of Olowo as rest in the bossom of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Ejidike also prayed that the Emir of Ilorin live long as a highly respected royal father and Chairman, Kwara State Council of Chiefs.
