The National Population Commission (NPC) on Friday flagged off training for sixty (65) persons on Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI), in Ilorin, Kwara State Capital.
Addressing the participants at the venue of the training, held at the University of Ilorin Veterinary Centre, Sabo-Oke, Ilorin, Federal Commissioner for Kwara State, Alhaji Razak Gidado, urged the trainees to be dedicated and give the commission their best for the resounding success of the 2023 population and housing census exercise.
“I urged you to be dedicated and give your best during the five days of training. The commission cannot afford not to give Nigeria a credible and acceptable census exercise fixed for April, 2023.
“The commission would not compromise on the standards and allow any actions that could jeopardize its mission”
Sixty-five participants were drawn from across the sixteen local government areas of the state.
