Makinde, who reiterated synergy with other sister security agencies said “synergy among security agencies has been of great support to the success recorded. Noted that, It’s not out of place to have little misunderstandings among junior ones when they are in the field, but we always short it out at the monthly security meeting by the head of security agencies”

He also said that the agency will intensify efforts on the training of its officers, especially on how to handle weapon, intelligence and information gathering to further aid their performance.

Talking on how to curb incessant kidnapping, the NSCDC commandant called on the people to always carry along security agencies in totality by letting them know when ransom is about to be paid, to who and where.

“why we so much have kidnapping is because when there is any case, people would report the matter, but when the kidnappers demand for ransom, the people concerned would not carry along the security agencies again, instead of them to brief us about what is happening, once they get in touch with the victim family, we are expecting them to relate it with us, give us the phone number, let us see, if we can track, but, by the time they want to pay, nobody would hear anything again, even, if you are going to pay the ransom, let us know, to who and where, so that we would be able to analyze it, we need to look at action before, during and after, these are the only things that can assist us, but, it’s just the beginning that we always know”
