Ogun State House of Assembly Suspends 2 Lawmakers

Ogun State House of Assembly has announced the suspension of two lawmakers from the assembly.

The suspended lawmakers are: Oludare Kadiri from Ijebu North II and Solomon Osho, from Remo North State constituency.

Speaker of the House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo who made the pronouncement during plenary said the two members had violated section 17 of house power and privileges.

Mr Oluomo maintained that the duo who were found to have severally breached the House privileges and leadership remained suspended from activities of the house until further notice.

The house later adjourned plenary till Tuesday, September 20, 2022.

Of the time of filing this report, efforts to reach the affected lawmakers proved abortive.(FRCN)
