A young man identified as Bassey Asuquo was reportedly to slumped and died while having sex with a commercial sex worker at brothel along Akesan road, Egan area of Lagos on Friday, 7 August 2020.
Information gathered revealed that, Bassey, a pharmacist by profession and 40 years of age, visited the brothel at about 10pm the previous night and drink at the brothel bar before ended up at that particular prostitute room.
The deceased was said to have slumped in the prostitute room in naked.
Management of the brothel said to got to know about the accident when the prostitute called the manager of the brothel via phone explained
how late Bassey was gasping for breath; and attempted to reach out for his inhaler when he died.
Management of the brothel immediately alerted the police at Igando division and police stormed the place where crowd had already gathered to have a glimpse of Bassey lifeless body.
A packet of cigarette, an inhaler and a stained boxer were reported to found in the room; while the commercial sex worker had escaped.
Manager of the brother further said all efforts to lure that prostitute back to explain better failed as she reportedly told the manager on the phone that she was about crossing the nation’s border to evade arrest.
Two staff of the brothel were said to be arrested by the police.
