The Nigerian Police Force, has confirmed the arrested of some suspected thugs reportedly attacked a woman for questioning the quality of representations of a member of the Federal House of Representatives.
Confirming the arrest, Borno State Police Commissioner, Abdu Umar, said the suspects arrested are Bello Musa, aka Al-Shabba, 24; Nasiru Abubakar, aka Mane, 22; Mala Mohammed, aka Bobby, 30; and Ali D. Shettima, aka Ari, 25.
It was gathered that the woman, Fadila Abdulrahman, a resident of Maiduguri, Borno State, was reportedly attacked by people armed with sticks and other lethal weapons and her shop, located at Shehu Sanda Kyarimi Park, was also vandalized.
The attacked gathered to followed how the woman expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of representations and leadership of a lawmaker, representing Jere Federal Constituency, Hon. Ahmad Satomi Grema.
The woman was said to posted a “scathing” video on Facebook about the lawmaker.
The incident reportedly caught attention of the Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum and he directed the security agencies to fish out the culprits and make them to face the full wrath of the law.
