Muslim clerics and traditional rulers have been called upon to step up the enlightenment against the get-rich-quick syndrome, especially among youth in society.

The syndrome of getting rich quickly through illegal means should be frowned upon by all Nigerians, just as parents are advised not to shirk their responsibilities of proper
upbringing of their wards.
The statement also called on government at all levels to ensure that full implementation of judgments passed by competent courts of law, especially as it affects murder, are implemented without delay, while calling on governors to append their signatures to such judgements without delay.
The curriculum of traditional Arabic/Islamic schools according to the statement should be overhauled while periodic seminars should be organized for their Mallams and teachers on how to constantly monitor the studies of students of such schools, especially, by their parents.
The Amir, however admonished the youth to avoid acts that could destroy their future or tarnish the image of their family
