Wayne Rooney has hailed Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag for stamping his authority at the club.
Rooney said he has been impressed by the way the former Ajax boss handled the Cristiano Ronaldo situation at the club, saying he is the right man for the job.
Rooney, Manchester United’s all-time highest goalscorer, says he is still in touch with happenings at Old Trafford.
“I think Ten Hag has done really well,” he told talkSPORT.
“He’s come in and stamped his authority on the team.
“He’s shown his strength and his character with how he dealt with Cristiano [Ronaldo] at times with the stuff he’s been up to,” the DC United manager said.
