Security agency apprehends Motorbike hijacker in Ogun

Ogun State-owned security outfit, So-Safe Corps, has arrested a 32-year-old Ojo Fagbenro for allegedly robbing traders and hijacking motorbikes in the State.

The Public Relations of the Corps, Mr Moruf Yusuf said in Abeokuta that the suspect was arrested while trying to rob the law-abiding citizens selling phone accessories on the bridge at Abule Ekun, Giwa, along Ijoko Road in Ifo Local Government Area.

Mr Yusuf said the suspect during preliminary Investigation confessed to the crime and claimed to be the Number three of the deadly Eye confraternity in the Area. 

He pointed out that the suspect also confessed to being part of the group that allegedly killed one Gabriel Frank on Monday, 14th November 2022 at Iju-Ishaga.

Mr Yusuf who listed items recovered from the suspect to include one locally made pistol, charms and a small bag said he had been handed over to Ajuwon Police Divisional Headquarters for further investigation and likely prosecution. (FRCN)
