Former Kaduna-Central senator Shehu Sani has proposed eight reforms that Nigeria’s next president should implement.
The former legislator disclosed this in a tweet on Wednesday, June 29, 2022; adding that Nigeria’s next president should improve the country’s power sector; pay off the nation’s debt, and deal with the problems with public universities.
Shehu Sani lists restructuring and petroleum subsidies as more examples.
He wrote: “Eight to-do list for Nigeria’s next president.
“Combatting Terrorism, fixing the Economy., Uniting the country, Fixing power.
“Servicing Debt, Public universities issues, Petroleum subsidy issues, and Restructuring.”
He also noted that the death sentence for bandits and their informants in Zamfara State was necessary.
“Zamfara’s death sentence for terrorists, bandits, and their informants is a necessity compelled by the situation the state found itself.
“Zamfara has become a breeding ground and safe haven for terrorists. Zamfara is today worse than Borno State,”he added.
