A traditionalist, Oba Abdul Adetoyese Olakisan, the Oba Ogboni Agbaye and Awise Iwase of Yorubaland, on Sunday died in a car crash while chasing gunmen who kidnapped his two wives.

A policeman and another woman also reportedly died in the accident.

Some gunmen had invaded the residence of the traditionalist on Sunday night in Imesile, Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State, and abducted his two wives.

It was gathered that in an attempt to rescue his wives, Oba Olakisan, the policeman and the woman trailed the abductors and while returning home from their search, had a lone accident and the three of them died on the spot.
