Transformation agenda: Wike best thing to happen to FCT – APC chieftain

A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon. Gabriel Bravo Oluohu, has lauded the transformation agenda of the FCT Minister, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, saying he is the best thing to happen to the FCT in particular and Nigeria in general.

In a statement made available to Blueprint in Abuja, Sunday, Oluohu, a former Supervisory Councillor for Finance and Investment in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), described the minister as a pragmatic leader and vibrant politician with positive ideas.

The former AMAC Supervisory Councilor stated that the rate at which Wike is going, he will transform the FCT in line with the dream of its founding fathers.

He said the way Wike addressed the issues of the chaotic inflation of contracts, corruption in land administration, endemic traffic congestion, failing environment orderliness, threatening security situation, poor revenue as well as leakages clearly shows that the minister is out for good in FCT.

He said as a city- builder right from Port-Harcourt, Wike’s current action to clean up the city and do away with many shanties in the satellite towns of FCT are very much expected of him adding that he would do more as a fearless politician to adhere strictly to the Abuja Master plan and deat decisively with anyone that violated or distorted the original master plan.

The APC chieftain, who is also a leader of APC South-south Forum in FCT, said Wike’s performance so far in FCT has excited all the good people living in the FCT and they are proud of him as a fearless leader to right a lot of things that went wrong in the past.
