Uba assumes office as NYSC Acting DG

Following the removal of Brigadier General Muhammad Kaku Fadah as Director General, National Youth Service Corps by President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR, Mrs Christy Uba, Director, Information and Communications Technology, has taken over the Corps.

This development was made available to journalists by the Director, Press and Public Relations, NYSC, Eddy Megwa in Abuja on Wednesday.

While approving his removal, President Buhari ordered Fadah to handover to the most senior Director in the Scheme to take over the leadership of the Scheme in the capacity of Overseer, pending the appointment of a substantive Director General.

Fadah, who spent only six months in the office was appointed Director General of NYSC in May 17, 2022 and terminated on November 17, 2022 by President Muhammadu Buhari.
