UITH assault: NANNM condemn attack on nurses, demands apology from culprits

    National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives University of Ilorin , (UITH ) chapter has condemned last Tuesday’s assult on one of it members and a doctor by three bereaved relatives of patient at the hospital.

    The association warned that the union would no longer tolerate such violent attack on any of it members saying such babaric act on any of its member and other health workers in the hospital “must stop”.

    This was contained in a statement issued by NANIM chairman, UITH chapter Kazeem Afolabi Ayinla Thursday.

    Ayinla said while , the leadership of the association sypathises wirh the relatives of the deceased person, it was wrong for anyone to act in such manner.

    He urged the management of the Hospital to strengthen it security network to forstall future occurence.
