(Video) Kwara NG-CARE Wraps Up Year With Total Grants Disbursement, As Beneficiaries Lauds Initiative

The Covid-19 Pandemic is a historic phenomenon whose impact on the economy and livelihood activities of the citizens of not just Kwara State but Nigeria as a whole cannot be quickly forgotten.

However, The Nigeria Covid-19 Action Recovery & Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) Programme is an intervention designed and supported by the World Bank, implemented by the supervising Agency Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) which came at the right time to complement the effort of His Excellency, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazak and serve as a springboard through which social intervention drive of Kwara State can be boosted.

Beneficiaries expressing their views about the scheme

The Objectives of the Kwara NG-CARES For MSMEs Programme are:

-To provide relief, facilitate recovery, and enhance the capabilities of vulnerable business owners in Kwara State.

So far, we are proud of the results gotten from the Result Area 3 for MSMEs of the KWARA NG-CARES Programme with Disbursement of N50,000 to Nano Businesses, N200,000 Operational Business Grant to Micro businesses & N500,000 Grant to Small-scale businesses supporting a total of 8,105 vulnerable businesses during the Second Phase of the intervention.
