The Rector of the Kwara State Polytechnic, Dr. Abdul Jimoh Mohammed has urged the students of the institution to always consider the school hostels in searching for accommodation.
The Rector, made the call while addressing the newly sworn in Students Union executives of the Polytechnic at the main campus of the institution.
“I want to implore you to intimate your fellow students why staying in the school hostels is safe and economical”
“We have done everything humanly possible to reduce academic stress via complete renovation of hostels with all the appropriate facilities; improved and constant power supply to illuminate every nook and cranny of the Polytechnic and all laboratories through connection with the national grid and construction of Solar power.”
Dr. Abdul, also advised the student union executives to make their education priority by see learning as their prime objective in the school.
He, however commended all the students of the Polytechnic for the manners they conducted themselves during and after the e-voting electioneering process.
Giving his acceptance, the newly elected president of the students Union, Babatunde Ibrahim Korede, urged the students to be law abiding and shun all acts of criminality.
