A House of Assembly candidate under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, Alhaja Aishat Olatundun Alanamu, has advanced reasons why the people of the state should re- elect Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq during the 2023 general elections.
Hajia Alanamu who is vying for the seat of Ilorin North- West (Alanamu/Ajikobi Constituency) in the State House of Assembly spoke during a consultative meeting with APC’s stakeholders in Ajikobi, Ilorin West local government area.
The House of Assembly hopeful said Governor Abdulrahman needs another four years to complete all the impactful developmental projects initiated by his administration.
She said the governor has performed excellently well in all sectors, especially, women/ youths empowerment, education, health and workers welfare.
She equally noted that the governor has accorded the traditional rulers in the state, especially the Emir of Ilorin and chairman, Kwara State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alh Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the respect and honour befitting of their status.
Hajia Alanamu added that for the above stated reasons which are verifiable facts: ” Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq deserves to be re- elected by the good people of Kwara State come 2023. His Excellency needs more time to complete all the ongoing projects scattered across the three senatorial districts in the state.”
She thanked the members of the ward for supporting her political aspiration, urging them to work assiduously towards the re-election of Governor AbdulRazaq and other APC candidates during in the 2023 general elections.
“ I’m here to thank you all. You have been very supportive to our great party- APC. Preparatory to the 2023 general elections, we all have to work hard to ensure that our party triumph. We’ll continue to uphold the trust you have on us,” she said.
