Youth organisation demands law for establishment of NYDC

Youth group known as Nigeria Youth Organization (NYO) weekend called on the federal government to make a law for the establishment of  National Youth Development Commission (NYDC).

They also demanded for a law backing the building of National Youth Development Centre.

The group which spoke through it national president, Okorie C. Okorie, stated  this  at a press conference marking the 2023 International Youth Day Celebration.

Okorie in the text of the conference noted that the theme of the celebration was, “Green Skills for Youths;Towards a Sustainable World.”

He admonished the tribunal sitting in Abuja to ensure fair and justice play out in their judgment.

He said: “It is with utmost joy and happiness that I welcome you all to this important press conference of the NYO which is in commemoration of the activities of 2023 International Youth Day Celebrations themed “Green Skills for Youths;Towards a Sustainable World:

“As we all know, every year, 12th of August is International Youth Day Celebrations as proclaimed by the United Nations which all and sundry are witnessing today. It is a day set aside for the youthsglobally in recognition of our commitment and sacrifices towards the development of the entire society.”
