Accord party candidate for House of Representatives from Kwara state, Olayemi Jejeloye has urged the electorate to vote his party and their candidates in the 2023 general elections saying they have real solutions to myriads of problems confronting Nigerians.

Jejeloye who is vying for Irepodun/ Isin/ Oke- Ero/ Ekiti federal constituency in the green chamber, said Nigeria’s electorate can no longer be deceived by those championing the gospel of change mantra saying “people want solutions to problems not change anymore “.

Jejeloye spoke to reporters on the side line of the flag- off of his camapign in Omu- Aran, Irepodun local government area of Kwara state.

He lamented that his constituency had over the years suffered ” retrogression” because of a lack of quality representation in the past by people elected into office.

“But why I have come out now is to make real chage and that is why one of our slogan is that we are the solution. People don’t necessarily want change any more, people want the solutions to these problems, this is a problem that is killing us all and people want a solution to it, We are going there to do the right thing with the conscience of the people because we are one of the people, we were not brought from outside to come and take the seat and in our party, we do not have godfathers who dictate and say this is what we should go and do. We were selected by the people, we are the people’s choice and as you can see around you today it is evident for you to see that we are truly selected and we are the people’s choice”, he said.

The house of reps hopefully encourages the electorate to resist vote buying and vote for their conscience assuring them of better days ahead.

“My advice to the electorate is very simple because the electorate has woken up and I know that this time around they cannot be cheated and they cannot be deceived but unfortunately in this country, today people in the office have weaponised poverty and they leave our people with no choice and they have turned our people to beggars. I want to encourage our people and appeal to them to be patient, the storn is about to be over , I want then to vote their conscience this time around and not allow themselves to be bought over by corrupt individuals with misely money that canbot even sustain then for a month talk more of four years. So my advice to the electorate, Come out enmass vote their onsciences, fulfil your civic responsibilities dont be brought over”, he said
Also speaking, Accord party senatorial chairman, Mr George Olupitan said the Iludun Oro born Jejeloye is a “home grown” politician who understands the challenges of the peoeple of his constituents.
