Ilorin West APC Ward Campaigners, Alaaya Hold Special Prayer For Gov AbdulRazaq

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ilorin West, Kwara State on Saturday held a special prayer for the state governor, AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq.

The prayer tagged” Pre- Ramadan Special Prayer” was put together by Ilorin West coordinators of the 2023 APC Campaign Council and was sponsored by the the Kwara Central coordinator and non executive director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL), Dr Mohammed Ghali Alaaya.

The prayer session which was led by Imam Alaaya, Sheikh Murtala Nurudeen was held at the Surulere, Ilorin private residence of the AGF AbdulRazaq’s family.

The gathering attracted eminent personalities including a commisioner- nominee, Dr Afees Abolore who chaired the occasion the and majority leader of the state House of Assembly, Barr. AbdulKadir Oba Olawoyin.

Others included the special adviser on Media, Alh Bashir Adigun, senior special assistant on Religion ( Islam), Alh Ibrahim Danmaigoro, Alh Baba Adefalu, Alh Baba Olosasa, Alh Mustapha Kobe, Alh
Gani Galadima, Hon. Bamidele Aluko, regional editor of LEADERSHIP, Alh Abdullahi Olesin, a university don, Dr Yunus Baraje and the focal person of NSIP in Kwara, Dr Rabiat Shehu-Jimoh Alabere.

The clerics who recited the whole Qur’an prayed God to grant Governor AbdulRazaq a successful tenure while acknowledging his giant strides in all sectors.

They also prayed for Dr Alimi AbdulRazaq,the Mutawali of Ilorin and the entire AGF family.

The chairman of the occasion, Dr Afees Abolore noted that the AGF family is a blessing to his community and many people.

He prayed Allah to help sustain and preserve the legacies of the AGF family.

Abolore said that going by the achievements of AbdulRazaq in the last five years, the governor has proven to be God- sent.

In his lecture, Sheikh Babatunde Shoibul – Bayan, noted that Governor AbdulRazaq is a leader for all,” because you don’t have to know anyone to secure employment opportunities or any benefit for your children or wards from government as the system prioritises competence and fairness in the distribution of the state’s resources.
