A delegation of the Stakeholders in Irepodun Local Government, Kwara State has visited the Olupo of Ajasse Ipo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Barrister Ismail Muhammed Alebiosu Atoloye over the fire incident at the popular Kara market in Ajasse ipo .
The delegation, under the aegis of Irepodun Unity Caucus ( IUC), was led by a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress ( APC) and the Esikin of Omuaran , retired Major General Lasisi Olayemi Abidoye.
Speaking at the palace of the Olupo, the IUC Leader conveyed the sympathies of members of the nascent group to the people of Ajasse ipo and the entire Irepodun LGA and Kwara South.
” We are saddened by the unfortunate fire incident and we resolved at our meeting to visit your Royal highness to express our grief and to commiserate with our people over their Collosal losses ” he said.
Gen. Abidoye praised the Royal father for his outstanding leadership in Kwara South and his steadfastness in finding solutions to the security challenges in kwara South.
Responding, Oba Alebiosu thanked the delegation for its sense of empathy as he commended the formation and focus of the group.
He lauded the unprecedented achievements of Gov. AbdulRazaq and urged Kwarans to continue to support ” the progressive government of Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, CON”.
The delegation included the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kwara State, Princess Bukola Babalola, the former Commissioner for Information and Oloriewe of Oro Kingdom, Alh. Raheem Adedoyin and the Agba Akin of Arandun, Chief Gbenga Adeoti.
Others were the Development Officer to Governor of Kwara State for Irepodun, Hon. Tayo Awodiji, Prince Samuel Alebiosu, Mr. Debo Adeleke ( ESGEE) and, Prince Femi Ajibade .
It will be recalled that the IUC resolved at its inaugural meeting in Omuaran on Monday to send a Condolence delegation to the Olupo over the fire incident at Kara Market.
