Commissioner of Police in Oyo State, Mr Adebowale Williams has re-affirmed its commitment to leave no stone unturned in ridding the State and its surrounding environs of undesirable criminal elements.

The police commissioner stated this during a working visit to Lagos/Sagamu/Sapade/Onigari axis and environs to forestall activities of criminal elements.

The police boss who was in the company of his Ogun State Counterpart, CP Lanre Bankole said the visit became imperative in a bid to proactively forestall future criminal occurrences along the highway.

He said both Commissioners embarked on a strategic assessment patrol and eventual deployment of assets around areas concerned to allay the fear of the public who ply the road.

Mr Williams noted further that the Security Architecture of both Commands were also deliberately remodelled with cooperation from adjoining State Police Commands to deal decisively with criminal elements whose mindset is to use both States as criminal hideout after being dislodged.
