Friends and associates, including members of the Arewa Consultatives Forum(ACF) on Monday held a special prayer to mark the 67th year birthday of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and chairman, Board of Trustees of Arewa Consultatives Forum(ACF) in Kwara State, Dr Alimi AbdulRazaq.
Alimi, the Mutawali of Ilorin is the senior brother of Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The birthday prayer which was organised by a political association- Kwara G.16 Working Committee For A.A And Mutawali was held at the family residence of the AbdulRazaqs at Surulere area of Ilorin. It was led by Alh Olanrewaju Imam.
The gathering offered special prayers for the celebrant and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The deputy governor of Kwara State,Mr Kayode Alabi led the pack of diginitaries that graced the event.
In a brief sermon, Sheik Ibrahim Danmaigoro praised the celebrant and his siblings for sustaining the legacies of their patriach, the late AGF AbdulRazaq (SAN).
The cleric urged Alimi and his siblings not to relent in their services to their community and humanity at large.
Other diginitaries that graced the event included the chairman of ACF in Kwara State, Dr Mohammed Ghali Alaaya, former special advisers and assistant to Kwara State’s governor on Strategy, Political Communications, Religion(Islam), Alh Saadu Salahu, Alh Bashir Adigun and Alh Ibrahim Danmaigoro, respectively; Dr Funsho AbdulRazaq, Alh Rahman Giwa, chairman, Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Prof Shehu Adaramaja and state secretary of APC, Alh Mustapha Isowo.
Others are former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Wahab Issa, Ex- state lawmaker, Hon. Hassan Oyeleke, , executive secretary of Ilorin East Local Government Education Authority, Alh Raufu Asude, APC Women leader, Alhaja Falilat Mohammed, a business mogul, Alhaja Kubura Kasum, chairman , Civil Service Commission, Alhaja Habibat Yusuf, Kwara Focal Person for National Social Investment Programmes (NSIP), Dr Rabiat Shehu- Jimoh Alabere Associate Professor Mustapha Adua, former Attorney- general and commissioner of Justice in the state, Barr. Salman Jawondo(SAN) and the regional editor of LEADERSHIP Newspapers,Alh Abdullahi Olesin.
