All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholders in Irepodun Local Government area of Kwara state was on Wednesday, 27th of January, applauded the state Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for various developmental projects executed in their area.
Addressing the Journalists at Image Gardens Hotel, Esie town, through their spokesperson, Hon. Olabanji Olayemi, who is also the Chairman, Kwara South caretaker committee said “Irepodun LGA appreciates Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his love for our people and the very visible beneficial projects and programmes of his Administration”
The group listed the following as Governor AbdulRazaq administration in the zone “Completion of Taiwo Road, Omuaran Esie museum Road Asphalt lay, Renovation of court building, Omu Aran, free surgeries of the state Government and the social investment programmes such as Owo Arugbo and Owo Isowo,
Comprehensive Renovation and construction of Additional Facilities in Oro Grammar School, Oro”
“Renovation of Block of 3 Classrooms with an office and store, GSS, Omuaran, Renovation of a Block of 4 Classrooms, CHS, Ajasde-Ipo, Renovation of a Block of 4 Classrooms and workshop building, Esie/Iludun Technical College, Renovation of Examination Hall, GSS, Omuaran, Renovation of a block of Laboratory, PMC, Oro-Ago, and many mores”
The caucus, however said “In the light of the enumerated achievements of the Governor in Irepodun LGA, it is not difficult for us to publicly declare unequivocal support for our party leader in Kwara State on the political situation in the party”
“We pledge our full support for Alh. Abdullahi Samari and, as we did with his predecessor, we look forward to working with him, even on a grander and smoother scale”
Responding to questions from Journalists, about the possibility of the caucus support for the second term of Governor AbdulRazaq, a serving member of the National Assembly, Hon. Raheeem Olawuyi (Ajulo) said “going by the outstanding performance of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the stakeholders from the zone will not find it difficult to declare full support for the Governor when he indicate interest for second term”
