Club 98 GSS old boys plans big for alma matter, inaugurates committee

Club 98 set of Government Secondary School (GSS), Ilorin old boys, has named 12 committees to organise series of events to mark its silver jubilee anniversary coming up later in December 2023.

The comnittteees included Planning, Medical , Publicity, Investment , Mobilisation and Security .

Others are Social/ Welfare, Logistics, Legal, Fund raising, Project and Diaspora Committees.

Rising from its webner held on March 5th 2023, the old boys agreeed to pull resources together with a view to ploughing back to their alma matter which they left 25 years ago.

The virtual meeting was also attended by club 98 old boys members in disapora including those in USA, Sound city amongsts others.

A statment by the club’s publicity committee, Umar AbdulWahab, stated that the proposed re-union, will among other objectives provide platform for the old boys to delibrate on areas begging for interventions in the over 100 year old school .
