The Commissioner for Communications in Kwara State, Hon. Bola Olukoju has commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his proactiveness in ensuring that state-owned media outfits are fully equipped, to operate at optimal levels.
Olukoju made the commendation at the broadcasting station in Ilorin, the state capital on Thursday during the unveiling of the newly procured back up equipments to enhance the productivity of the Kwara State Television Authority (KWTV).
The Commissioner commended the State Governor for leaving no stone unturned in the journey of placing Kwara State in the league of developed states in Nigeria and the world at large.
“With what KWTV used to be, every individual will now agree that we are definitely getting better day after day”.
She also charged the station staff to be more active and productive in order to justify the good actions of the present administration in the state.
Responding, the General Manager of the station, Alhaji Ayobami Akanbi expressed greater appreciation to the State Government for its steadfast commitment to addressing challenges faced by the station as well as the consistent support for all the state owned media outfits.
He said “with the availability of this state of the art equipment, the station will no doubt maintain the desired quality and dish out educational, informative and entertaining contents for the entire Kwara citizens.
The new equipment procured include; Vimix system with Configuration, Black Magic design Aten Television Studio Pro 4k switcher and Black Magic Decklink Mini Monitor 4k among others.
