Correpondents’ Chapel Commiserates with Kwara Governor, NUJ Over Demise Of Deputy Director Of Protocol Govt House

The Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kwara State Council has commiserated with the Kwara State Governor, and journalism fraternity in the state and beyond over the demise of Mr. Timothy Nathaniel.

The deceased was a Deputy Director of Protocol in the Kwara Government House before his sudden death.

In a statement signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Chapel, Abdulhakeem Garba, and Kayode Abdulazeez, respectively, the chapel commiserated with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and entire members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in the state for the irredeemable loss.

The chapel described the deceased as a quintessential journalist, who displayed a high level of professionalism and great leadership quality during his lifetime as a professional journalist with the Kwara State Television Authority (KWTV) and as former Secretary of the Union at the state council.

The chapel prayed for the repose of the soul of the fallen colleague and urged his family to take solace in the fact that Nathaniel will be remembered on the posi­tive side of history as a great and nice person.
