IEYDA Honours YPP Guber Candidate, Gobir

Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association, IEYDA has honoured the Madawaki of Ilorin and the Governorship Candidate of the Young Progressives Party, YPP, Waziri Yakubu Gobir for his resolute support to the Ilorin Emirate.

IEYDA honored Gobir during her empowerment program for the indigenous traders who are into the production of locally made food and presentation of certificates of commendations to heroes and heroines as well as organizations who have been contributing to the growth and development of Ilorin Emirate through IEYDA.

According to the National Publicity Secretary of IEYDA, Alhaji Mohammed Uthman Jagunma, the commendation certificate is an appreciation to Waziri Yakubu Gobir for his contributions and support to the Association IEYDA.

“The certificate is in recognition of your estimable and sustainable contribution towards the growth and development of Ilorin Emirate as a whole in the year under review; 2022.” He said.

While receiving the certificate, Gobir who was represented by his running mate, Hon Bolujoko George, appreciated the IEYDA for standing up for the masses. He also urged the organizers to continue to be unbiased to indigenes irrespective of political affiliates.

After the presentation of the certificate, Gobir handed over the 5 Million Naira cheque to the IEYDA as a fulfillment of his promise to the association during its 2022 Annual Empowerment Program.
