Gov Sani Bello takes over as APC caretaker Chair, chairing CECPC meeting, to meet with state chairmen today

Amid heavy tight-security, Niger State governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, today Monday take over as the Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, CECPC.

This is coming following the alleged removal of Gov Mai Mala Buni by president Muhammadu Buhari.

It was gathered that Gov Bello, is presently chairing a meeting of caretaker committee with about nine out of the thirteen members in attendance.

The new caretaker Chairman is also expected to meet with the State Chairmen of APC some of whom are already seated at the NEC hall awaiting the outcome of the caretaker Committee.

We could recall that the national secretary of CECPC, James Akpanudoedehe, had earlier debunked the report of sacking of Buni by president Buhari, described the report as “fake news”
