Hon. Alajagusi meets with Constituents

Hon. Abdulyekeen Sadiq ALAJAGUSI, representing the people of Ilorin West/Asa Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representative, Abuja was on Friday, 24 July, 2020 met with his Constituents from Ila-oja Ward in Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State.

The meeting which held at the Ajagusi village was summoned to solidify the All Progressive Congress (APC) as a party and deliberate on how to bring more dividends of democracy to the constituents.

Addressing his constituents, Hon. Alajagusi urged them not to toe the path of dividing the party said Governor AbdulRazaq is for all the APC members, noting that nobody can lay claim to him than other.

Talking on the completion of Afon Road Project, Hon. Alajagusi said following the discussion he had with Governor AbdulRazaq alongside with other leaders from Asa Local Government, the team of experts from the State Government led by the Commissioner for Works and Transports had visited the project to see where the contractor stopped and he expressed high hope that work will soon commence back on that Federal Government project that is being handled by the State Government.

He, however reassured his constituents of his commitment to the development of the constituency and kwara in general and urged them to stay safe and always abide with all the precautionary measures against contracting COVID-19 virus.

Talking earlier, the Ila-oja Ward APC Chairman, Alhaji Adewole Ishola Raheem said one of the purposes of the meeting is how to unite the party more and rally round the government of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for him to be able to achieve his campaign promises and turnaround Kwara for good, saying that success of the present administration is what paramount to them.

The ward chairman also used the occasion to appeal to Governor AbdulRazaq not to forget his people in terms of empowerment programme said they are eagerly waiting to benefit from the government they worked for during the 2019 general elections.

In attendance at the meeting were; Hon. Abdulwahab Opakunle representing Afon constituency at the State House of Assembly, APC Executive and party members under Ila-oja ward in Asa Local Government Area of the state.
