The Kwara Online Publishers Association of Nigeria (KOPAN) has on Friday 24th of September, 2021 elected her executives who will be in charge of the association for the next three years.
The election which was conducted at the KOPAN Secretariat, Yidi Road Ilorin, saw Hammed Adedayo Said emerged as the maiden Chairman of the association.
Electoral Committee Chairman, Rowland Olonishuwa, after the election, charged the new executives to be diligent and committed in their new responsibilities.
The new Chairman in his acceptance speech assured Kwara publishers of an all-inclusive adminstration, while vowing to put in his best to take the association to a great height.
Earlier, the Congress had adopted the Constitution of the association.
Other members of the executives include; Issa Saliu (Vice Chairman), Opeyemi Adeoti (Secretary), Alameen Abdukadir (Assistant Secretary), Akinlolu Amin (Treasurer), Abdullah Abdulganiy (Financial Secretary), Buhari Olanrewaju (Welfare Secretary) and Sulyman Hameed (Public Relations Officer).
