The newly elected Chairman of Labour Party (LP) in Kwara State, Hon. Ajibade Adekunle Samson, has called for unity, commitments, and collaboration among party officers, ward executives, stakeholders, and supporters across the state.
He made the call at the inauguration of newly elected state executive held over the weekend at the Party’s Secretariat along Ajase-Ipo Road, Ilorin.
In his address, Hon Ajibade stressed the importance of strengthening internal communication, deepening grassroots structures, and upholding the founding principles of the Labour Party.
“Let us deepen communication, strengthen our structures, carry the message to every community, and reaffirm the founding ideals of the Labour Party service to the people, dignity of labour, transparency, accountability, and progress driven by the collective will of the masses,” he said.
The Chairman described Labour Party as a political platform for all Kwarans and Nigerians who desire good governance, responsive leadership, youth empowerment, women inclusion, business growth, and improved security. He commended party members for their resilience and unwavering belief in people-centered democracy.
“We have come this far together through dedication, courage, perseverance, and an unshaken belief in a democratic process that places the people first. Your sacrifices, loyalty, voice, and trust have been the heartbeat of this movement and remain the fuel of our progress,” he added.
The event attracted party leaders, supporters, and stakeholders who pledged continued commitment to the growth and success of Labour Party in Kwara State.
