The Kwara State Police Commissioner, Mohammed Lawal Bagega psc, has call on all the retired Police Officers along with their spouses in the state to visit any of the eight, 8 registration centers set aside for the free National Health Insurance Scheme.
According to the press releases signed by the Public Relations Officer of the state command, SP Okasanmi Ajayi (anipr) said the exercise will take place between 22nd to 25th of March, 2021, in Eight Area Command Headquarters in the state.
The official statement read in part “wishes to inform all retired police officers in the state, irrespective of rank at the time of retirement, that the enrollment of retired police officers and their spouses in Nigeria has been graciously approved by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, NPM, mni, being one of his laudable initiatives to ensure that retired police officers in the country have access to quality health care has commenced across the country, Kwara State inclusive”
“The second phase of this laudable initiatives of the IGP will take place in Kwara State between 22nd to 25th of March,2021 at the eight (8) Area Command headquarters in the State. Retired Police Officers and their spouses are directed to report at the Area Command headquarter closest to them with the following documents”
“Letter of Retirement. Retirement ID card.
For emphasis, the exercise is free of any cost to the retired officers and is without any deductions in their pensions”
“The Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Command, CP Mohammed Lawal Bagega psc, wishes to admonish all retired officers and their spouses to take advantage of IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu’s kind and humane gesture by enrolling for the exercise at the dates and designated venues, as this will greatly enhance their living conditions as retired officers, please”
