Police Nabs vandal of Public Property in Kwara

The Nigerian Police Force, Kwara State Command was on Tuesday 30th of December, 2020 said it had nabbed one Akewusola Suleiman while he was vandalizing and stealing Solar Panels installed by the state government.

The newly deployed Commissioner of Police in the State, CP Mohammed Lawal Bagega disclosed this while addressing the Journalists in the state for the first time since he resumed duty on 22nd of December, 2020 at the Police Headquarters in Ilorin on Tuesday.

According to him “It would interest you to know that, within the short time of my arrival in the state, we have made some arrests, especially one Akewusola Suleiman of Ilorin Mini Campus Area, was arrested while vandalizing and stealing Solar Panels installed by the State Government, efforts is in progress to arrest his accomplices”

The Police Commander, added that  “I has directed my ever ready officers for the raiding of criminal hideouts in the state and many suspects have been arrested and undergoing interrogation, in which anyone found culpable of crime will be charged to court”

The Commissioner, however solicited for the support, cooperation and collaboration of all stakeholders in the efforts of maintaining the status of the state as a state of Harmony, said “the command under my watch will not leave any stone unturned to ensure that is achieved crime free society”
