Kwara Assembly Speaker charges Police on proactiveness, friendly

The Speaker of the Kwara state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Engr. Yakubu Danladi Salihu has implored officers of the Nigeria Police Force to be proactive and people friendly in the conduct of business of protection of lives and properties of Nigerians.

Hon. Danladi made the charge at the Assembly complex on Friday 4 of December, during ceremonial decoration of promoted officers of the Police attached to the Kwara state House of Assembly.

“On behalf of 9th Kwara state House of Assembly, I congratulate you all on your promotion. We appreciate your hard work and commitment, we are very glad associating with you”

“I implore you to continue to be the touted people’s friend, in the face of present security challenges in the Country, you must be proactive in protecting lives and properties anywhere you find yourself to justify the confidence reposed in you by the Federal Government,” Danladi said.

Fourteen (14) officers of the Nigeria Police Force attached to the Kwara state House of Assembly, including Orderly to the Speaker were promoted to Inspector rank, while two (2) were promoted to Sergent rank.
