KWSG releases prerequisites for benefiting from its subsidized farm inputs

    The kwara state government on Monday released a press statement to intimate the interested farmers about prerequisite to benefit from its subsidized farm inputs for the next farming season

    The statement reads in part

    “Following the Constitution of the membership of Kwara Agric Input distribution committee (KWA- AID), the committee held her inaugural meeting on Monday, 22nd March, 2021 in the conference room of ministry of agriculture and rural development (MARD).
    The committee hereby wishes to intimate the teeming farmers of the State of the prerequisites for benefiting from the”

    subsidized farm inputs as follows:

    1. Prospective beneficiaries must be in cluster groups of farmers not less than 10 members per cluster

    2. A letter of intent be addressed on behalf of the cluster group and submitted through MARD Headquarters, MARD Area offices or KW ADP area offices (through the extension agents)
    Letter of intent must include among others:
    a) Name of cluster group
    b) Names of members of the cluster group indicating their respective gender, phone number, hectarage, type of crop(s) and other inputs required, farm locations and coordinates.
    *The submission closes two (2) weeks from the date of this announcement*
