KWSG Tightens Security On Border Communities Amid Fear of Bandits Infiltration

As part of proactive measures to prevent infiltration of bandits into Kwara state through the boundary at the Vobera forest in Kaiama local government area Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq in collaboration with the 22 Armoured Brigade, Sobi barracks is cordoning all boundaries in Kwara state.

In view of this development, the Brigade Commander, 22 Armoured Brigade, Nigeria Army, Sobi barracks, Ilorin, Brig Gen Abdulsalam Abubakar has relocated from Sobi barracks to the Vobera forest in Kaima Local government, in the northern part of the state.

The development said to cordon off Kwara and stop the infiltration of militants from Niger State.

The exercise is said to be extended to other entry points (boundaries), across the state.
