Man Shot By Unknown Gunrunner in Kwara Says NSCDC

Unknown gunrunner has confirmed to shot a young man identified as Salisu Haruna around Offa/Ikotun area in Kwara state on Tuesday 8th of June, 2021 says Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

Disclosing the incident, through a press statement signed by the spokesperson of the agency Babawale Zaid Afolabi said “about 1945HRS of 8th June 2021 a man named Salisu Haruna, a native of Ikotun village Oyun local government was on his way from Offa going to Ikotun”

“He was shot on the arm at ogbondoroko junction in Offa, the victim escaped and ran to civil Defence Area ‘E’ Commmand Headquarters”

He added that the operatives of NSCDC and the Police had been deployed to the area for further investigation.
