Moro will experience rapid transformation uunder YPP – Gobir

    The Young Progressives Party (YPP) Governorship Candidate in Kwara State, Waziri Yakubu Gobir, has stated that Moro will experience rapid transformation under the YPP government.

    Gobir made this statement in Baba-Dudu ward of Moro local government area of the state with his running mate, Hon. Bolujoko George and other party stakeholders. He hinted his administration will prioritize the infrastructural development if elected as the Governor of Kwara State come 2023.

    In his words, “What I found in places visited are unacceptable. I can only say that Moro is far from governance. We want to upgrade Kwara infrastructures across health, education, roads, and water supply because our people deserve better in all aspects”.

    “We partnered Civil Society Organization to assess problems in Kwara. Within Three weeks, they gave Need assessment reports of Two local government areas in Kwara South. However, It took them a month to give feedback on Moro local government due to the peculiarity of this region. We know where the shoes pinch you, and I want to assure you that Moro will experience rapid transformation under the YPP government if we are elected as Governor in 2023”. He enthused.

    Aláànú Mẹ̀kúnnù, as he is fondly called, also paid homage to the Magaji of Baba-Dudu Oke, Mallam Abdul-rahman Atiku. While he also met a group of supporters and party faithfuls in Oloko Nla.

    He met the Association of Baales in Moro local government under the umbrella of ‘Igbimo Baale Moro’ led by Barr. G.S Bolakale Yusuf in Sheji community.

    Gobir had earlier paid homage to Alhaji Shuaib Akanbi Kominaallah, the Mogaji of Eleko in Abati Alara Ward. He later visited the community of one of the YPP stakeholders, Alhaji Isiaka Ayinde Jimoh, in Okuta Ila, where he met a multitude of YPP members and teeming supporters.
