Murdered: Angry Kano Youths Set Hanifah killer’s School Ablaze

The aggrieved youths in Kano state at the wee hours of today, Monday stormed ‘Noble Kids Academy’ in Kawaji, Nasarawa Local Government Area of Kano state, and set it ablaze.

The school was burnt down by angry youths protesting the death of Hanifa Abubakar, the five-year-old pupil who was abducted and killed by her proprietor.

The proprietor of the school, Abdulmalik Tanko is the mastermind of the plot and actual killer of Hanifah, an act that has attracted international condemnation.

Hanifah was kidnapped in December and killed shortly after, though her abductors had demanded a N6million ransom.

It was while trying to get part of the ransom that the proprietor of the school, Abdulmalik Tanko, was nabbed by security forces.

The Kano government had before now, shut down the school indefinitely and directed parents to enroll their children in other schools.

It was gathered that Mr. Tanko, school proprietor, is not the owner of the burnt building, he rented it.
