Malian coach Éric Chelle has officially been unveiled as the new Head Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a ceremony held today in Abuja.

Chelle signed his contract and is set to lead the team with a focus on achieving two key objectives: guiding Nigeria to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and steering the Homebased Eagles to success in the CHAN tournament later this month.

The experienced tactician brings a wealth of knowledge, having led Mali to the quarterfinals of AFCON 2023. He will continue working with the three assistants who have been part of his journey, ensuring consistency in his technical approach.
