People of Owa-Onire community in the Ile-Ire district of the Ifelodun local government area of the Kwara state have appreciated Kwara state government on development projects being carried out across the state, especially as it affected communities in the Ile-Ire district of the area particularly the construction of OOWU water falls road project .
In a statement by the community signed by the Chairman, Owa-Onire Central Planning Committee, Mallam Saka Ogunbiyi, the people said that the various development projects embarked upon by the Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq-led administration are capable of improving socioeconomic lives of the people and the state, and as well take the state to greater heights.
“It is our fervent belief and prayers that these monumental projects across the state will further encourage Your Excellency’s strong desire to pilot the the ship of the state to enviable harbour which we have, over the years, been yearning for”.
Also, the people of Owa-Onire expressed their heartfelt congratulations to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq over the successful conduct of the recent Local Government Elections in the State.
They said that the victory at the LGA poll is a clear appreciation and attestation to love of the people for the present administration and quality leadership style in the state.
In the same vein, the Onire of Owa-Onire, Oba Ramonu Lawal Ifabiyi III, and the entire people of Owa-Onire community felicitated with Governor Abdulrazaq on the conferment of traditional title of Sadauna Ngeri of Ilorin on him by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Zuluqanaini Gambari (OON).

The people said that the prestigious title is a reflection of the governor’s love, integrity, dedication and commitment to progress of Ilorin community and Kwara state in general.
