Police Confirm Arrest Of Four Varsity Students For Allegedly Beating Colleague To Death In Kwara

Nigerian Police Force, Kwara State Command have confirmed arrest of four undergraduate students of the Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, in Moro Local Government, for allegedly beating a fellow student to death.

The incident reportedly occurred in one of the private hostels outside the school. The suspects reportedly descended on the deceased, whose identity is yet to be ascertained as time of filling this report, for allegedly filming them.

Confirming the incident and arrest of the suspects today Friday, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the state cmand, Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, said “The alleged culprits were four but I cannot confirm their names now. They have been arrested while an investigation is still ongoing over the matter,” she said.
