Royal Titles: AYCF Hails Emir of Ilorin Over Appointment

The Kwara State Chapter of Arewa Youth Consultative Forum AYCF has commended the appointments of royal titles on prominent sons of Ilorin Emirates.

The Forum also hailed the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari for conferring the appointment on them, saying their selection is based on their track record and integrity in the Ilorin Emirates, the state and the country at large.

In a statement signed by the State Chairman of AYCF, Comrade Kazeem Ishaq Elewure and the Publicity Secretary, Muhammed Magaji described the appointment as well deserved.

The statement noted with satisfaction that all the appointees would deliver up to expectation in their new duty, considering their past record in the nation.

The AYCF, while praying Allah to give more wisdom to them in their new assignment, urged Kwarans, particularly people of Ilorin Emirate to continue to give them their support in discharging of their duty.

The appointees include, Mallam Saliu Mustapha, as the new Turaki of Ilorin, Dr. Alimi AbdulRazaq as Mutawalle of Ilorin, Sheikh Faruq Sulyman Onikijipa as the Grand Mufti of Ilorin and Waziri Yakubu Gobir as Dawaki of Ilorin.

Others are Alhaji Saka Onimago as Shetimma of Ilorin, Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje as Tafida of Ilorin and Alhaji Kawu Agaka as Dan Iya of Ilorin, Sheikh Abdulkadir Oba-Sholagberu as Mallam Ubandoma of Ilorin, Sheikh Yakub Aliagan as Sarkin Malami of Ilorin.
