SDP Waxing Stronger In Kwara – Party’s Chairman

Kwara state chairman of the Social Democratic Party, (SDP) James Dada, has reassured members of the party and Kwarans on the readiness of the party to participate keenly in the forthcoming general elections.

SDP, chairman disclosed this today Monday, at Lajorin, Street office of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Ilorin, where it held a familiarisation meeting with the national and state officers.

According to him “Kwara State is one of the States where SDP found its footing with massive members.

“It is necessary to state it here without mincing words that some well to do individuals were pleased with the manifestos of the party and agreed to work with us on the same track.

Stated further that, “SDP, has its membership cut across the sixteen Local Govt Areas in the state.

Explaining the basis of the meeting, the chairman said that there was a need for old and new members to familiarize themselves.

Noted that, apart from aggrieved APC members, members from PDP have also signified intention to be part of the SDP movement.

“It is in this light that today’s gathering signposts the fact that the social Democratic Party has arrived and by the grace of God will rule the state come 2023,” he said.
