‘Voice of Tomorrow Summit’ is About Mentoring Future Leaders – Gov Aide, Shagaya

The Technical Assistant to the Kwara state Governor on Investment, Alhaji Kabir Shagaya has disclosed that the voice of tomorrow summit, is about mentoring future leaders appropriately for the betterment of the state and Nigeria.

Shagaya made this known while addressing journalists in Ilorin, kwara state capital, ahead of the summit scheduled to hold on Saturday, 10th of July at Banquet Hall, opposite Government House Ilorin, by 1pm.

Intimating pressmen on the purpose of the Summit Shagaya said “Voice of Tomorrow is an initiative put together to guide the leaders of tomorrow, because the problems we have in this country are embedded in the system we are working with”

“As a youths and leaders of tomorrow, we need to start making necessary changes, which is important to push us to the next level and move us forward. The summit is aim to help the youths understand the responsibilities that comes with the position, influence and having a voice that count”

“We all have a voice in different capacities and we must understand how to use it appropriately to push our country forward”

The theme of the Summit is “Responsibilities and Expectations that Come with Influence”

He, made it know that the Summit is open to all Youths in the state and beyond said “the whole ideas of the Summit will be centered around Expectations and Consequences of Expectations”

Responding to question on the category of people expecting at the Summit as participants, He disclosed that forty students are expecting from each Tertiary Institution across the state as official participants, through their Union leaders.

Added that each institution will present a person that will participate in a debate during the programme on the topic “Why my School is better than yours” and winners will be compensated handsomely.

The Technical Adviser on Investment, however, appreciated his principal, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and all other cabinet members for the support they have been giving him, added that the state is on the right path to economic well-being.
