The Chairperson, Governing Council of the Kwara State College Nursing and Midwifery, Ilorin, Alhaja Folilat Folashade Salami and the Provost of the College, Imam Abubakar Ayinla has rejoiced with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq over Governor’s of the year award bestowed on him by the Leadership Newspapers management.
This is expressed in a press statement jointly signed by the provost and Chairperson Governing Council of the College, commended Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq the Governor and Visitor to the College on his Leadership Award of Best Governor in Nigeria.
The duo felicitated with the action Governor of the State, who has held the bull by the horn since assumption of office in May, 2019, describing the Visitor to the College, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq as a divine gift to kwara state and humanity at this point in time.

“With visible developmental projects on Campus, such as renovated classrooms, hostels, teaching aids, enabling environment for learning and research work plus accreditation of Courses by the Nigerian Nursing Council in Abuja, the Governor is a man to beat when it comes to managing material and human resources”
he stated further, “We are very prod of the recognition by the Leadership Newspaper Management in Abuja”
The College Administrator assured Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Governor and Visitor to the College that the management will continue to translate his dreams in providing manpower for the health sector of the state and the nation at large.
“We are stoically focused in producing Nurses/ Midwives who are academically sound with good character that will compete with their contemporaries anywhere in the world”the Provost stressed,
Provost also expressed appreciation to Alhaja Folilat Folashade Salami led Governing Council said the council has demonstrated commitment, absolute loyalty to Mr. Governor and robust relationship with the College management to move the college forward in the right direction.
