Why University of Ilorin Will Remain Outstanding – JAMB Registrar Prof. Oloyede

The Registrar and Chief Executive of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof Is-haq OlanrewajuOloyede, CON, has said that the University of Ilorin would continue to be outstanding in all ramifications as he charged public servants to always do the right thing at the right time.

Prof. Oloyede, who is also a former Vice Chancellor of the University, stated this in a chat with University Bulletin after a testimonial teaching of a course to 100 level students of the institution’s Department of Religions.  

He said that the nation’s most sought-after University would continue to be outstanding due to its quality of leadership, quality of staff, and quality of teaching.

The Professor of Islamic Jurisprudence said that despite the fact that he is the current Registrar of JAMB, he is still creating time to teach his students at the University of Ilorin.

He opined that doing the right thing at the right time by every Nigerian especially those occupying public offices would move the country forward.

Prof. Oloyede, who is also the Secretary-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), said that if everyone cleaned his or her corner everywhere would be clean.
