Wife of Emir of Ilorin Canvasses for Needy, Says Panacea For Peaceful Coexistence

The wife of the Emir of Ilorin, Hajiya Rafat Sulu-Gambari, on Sunday called on the wealthy individuals in the society to always take care of those in need for the sake of peaceful coexistence.

Hajiya Sulu-Gambari made the call while speaking at the Maolud Nabbiy and the Turbaning of Sheikh Abdullahi EL-Hassan Zathullahi as the Sarkin Samarin Addini held at the Emir’s Palace in Ilorin, Kwara state capital.

According to her “the needy should be supported to reduce criminal activities in the society”

“wealthy individuals and corporate organisations have a duty to complement government effort in providing amenities to those in need”

Hajiya Sulu-Gambari also challenged religious leaders to always preach love, peace and development of the society.

In his remark after being Turbaned as the Sarkin Samarin Addini of Her Royal Highness Alasalatu, Sheikh Abdullahi EL-Hassan Zathullahi said, he will use the opportunity given to him to support the needy, youths and promote Islam.

Sheik Zathullahi also seize the occasion to urged those in the position of authority to always carry their followers along in decision making and process of uplifting the society.

He, also advised the youths on the importance of peaceful coexistence in the society said “your future is more guarantee under the peaceful atmosphere”
