YPP Chairman Paid Condolence Visit to Lajolo Community Over Alleged Killing of Two Indigenes by Police

The Chairman of the Young Progressives Party, Charles Olufemi Folayan has paid a condolences visit to the Magaji of Lajolo community over the incident/accidents that occurred between the police and some indegenes of the community which led to the loss of lives of two young people (Jamiu Fatai and Shaobana Abdulrasheed) in the community.

The YPP Chairman sympathizes with the parent, the community leader and the people of Lajolo over the incident and pray that God put an end to such incidence.

The Magaji of Lajolo, Mallam Isa Alao while thanking the YPP Chairman for the visit, described the incident as unfortunate, he said, the victims were indigenes of the community.

“We woke up on Saturday to the invasion of the men of the Special Tactical Squad (STS) from the Nigeria Police Force, Abuja, who started shooting sporadically in the community leading to the death of innocent people”

“We are known as law abiding citizens, myself and other communities leaders always educate people in our community both indigene and students to be responsible. I plead with the Inspector General of Police Baba Alkali to investigate the matter and ensure justice”
